Question Season pass

I want to get a season pass this year and I'm wondering what you guys think the best place might be for that? It's for a snowboarder who can ride just about anything, just don't like cliffs too much

I would get it at either Gart's or Colorado Ski and Golf (Right off of Havana and below Parker)

I was at Sniagrab on Monday, and Garts does not sell the Buddy Pass. I was told to check Grand West Outfitters (just down the street from the Sports Castle). The Buddy Pass is $209 for A-Basin, Breck and Keystone. Pay and add'l $90 to get 10 days at Vail/Beaver Creek. Or, you can get a Copper 4-pack for $69. I think Winter Park's pass is $209 this year, too. I myself am opting for the Buddy Pass, as I have for the past 3 yrs. Hope to see some Subies at the slopes soon!

Sweet, thanks for the responce, I can't wait till the season starts. Think I'll go to Colorado Ski and Golf since it's like a block from the house. Should have a mini meet on the slopes

Mini meet to/on the slopes would be good. The WRX is the optimal skiing approach car. Minimizes travel time, maximizes travel experience!

You should get a season pass to Copper - $200.

That is where I have gotten my season pass for the last 5 years. IMO they know how to run things better there, and they have a ton of equipment, like tons of snow cats, and there own pipe dragon. Lift lines seem to run quicker as well. I use to get the Copper Season pass along with the Three mountain pass, but I just wasn't as pleased with Breck, A-basin, and Keystone as I am with Copper. Boarding is beautiful there.

Thumbs up I agree with kagan?

Keystone is one of the first mountains to open up. They've got decent terrain. Then Vail and Beaver Creek kick ass on powder days. Then there's late season skiing at A-Basin.

Breck is just too damn flat.

Never skied/boarded at Copper, but A-Basin is the shiznit. East Wall, hidden smokeshack, nuff said. Keystone has the Outback area, as well as the only night skiing in Colorado. Breck, although filled w/ pretentious people, has some sweet spots as well. Peak 9 terrain park, the added bonus of a friend's cousin owning a house right next to Peak 5. Those things sold me on it.

Your best bet might be to just get the Colorado Card, or the PEAKS program offered by Vail Resorts. It includes Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge & Keystone, too. You earn points based on lift tickets you buy, etc.

I'd be down with a mini meet to ski/board with fellow Subie owners. That'd be cool.

Nice to see you pop in here Erik. About cliffs, I guess it's the riders definition, but anything over 10 feet or so, I start getting a little uncomfortable, maybe cause I almost broke my self jumping off a particularly big cliff in Switzerland this past year, kinda made me wary. And yes, that's what I love about here, you don't have only four mountains to choose from to go boarding, all sorts of good selections, and it isn't that heavy snow that you get in the Pac Northwest. What's with Aaron on your board?? And how is the exhaust thing going?

Man, are you guys lucky!!! It cost like $1200-1500 for a season pass over here in the east coast. I used to be a college rep in school, so I never paid. Now, it sucks cuz I'm out of school! A buddy of mine is out in University of Colordao, and he tells me it's so cheap compared to what we're used to!
