Default Which mounts, bushing to get for swap-04sti ingc8

Hey guys, Im getting ready to do my swap on my gc8( 04 sti motor, trans, diff, hubs, etc.) Since my whole car will be apart I was wondering what upgrades you would recommend. I currently have the Sti tranny, motor, and pitch stop mount for my gc8.
I was looking at the following:
Whiteline Steering rack bushing
Whiteline KSB751 Diff Lock Kit
New camber bolts
Control Arm Bushings
Kartboy Transmission Crossmember Bushings
Kartboy Rear Differential Bushings
Kartboy Rear shifter Bushing
Kartboy Shift Lever

Any recommendations on what would you get/not get. OR any other advice and new ideas are welcomed.

Thanks

Definetely do the steering rack bushings while doing the swap. No added labor when taking everything apart.

The diff. bushings i'd do too.. But i'm not sure which ones you'd have to buy, since your upgrading all of that stuff. i'd assume for the sti.. but i'm not positive.

The STi engine mounts will work with the new motor (engine + pitch stops)

Pretty sure you'll have to buy a 6MT STi transmission mount that's different than the 5MT one

If your going with the 6spd use all the 6spd Shift Linkage and therefore all the 6spd bushing for anything shifter related.

Rear end if you swapping the whole R180 subframe obviously the bushings for the STi aswell

Steering rack bushing depends on if you want to use the STi crossmember with the STi steering rack, but even then I think you have to do some more swapping of the steering column aswell. You'll have to ask someone who's accually done it. If you stick with the RS steering rack then use the ones designed for the GC.

Yes, i am swapping all crossmembers, r180 and Sti steering rack. Are you saying the Sti shift bushings instead of upgrading?

Hey, I see the swap is coming along....good for you.

I agree that now is the time to do bushings. I'd consider doing an Anti-Lift kit as now is the time to do it if you think it's a mod for you. The Kartboy shifter bushings are cheap, but i would not say they are necessary. They make more of a difference on the 5mt than the 6mt...so if you are tight on cash i'd say this is one you can hold off on. The short shifter though will make a big difference.

PM me if you have any questions or would like some prices on Kartboy stuff.

When's this thing coming together? Good luck with everything
