Default Another Valentines Day thread

I'll try to keep it short. I have been seeing this girl for about a month and a half or so and I don't know what gift if any I should get her for Valentines. I don't know what would be considered too much and I don't want to get her something lame like a teddy bear. Dinner is pretty much out of the question since she is going to be at work until 9ish(I was thinking about cooking for her but i cant cook to save my life) and I just am drawing a blank on this. Any help would be greatly appreciated

you can royally embarrass or impress her by showing up to her work with roses, balloons, stuffed bears

Go to the craft store and buy some card stock; some dried, pressed flowers; some linen; etc... and make her a really sweet card. Then ask her to put on a short-hair wig and let you stick it IDP while a Steisand album plays in the background.

Call up a nice restaurant and ask if you can get dinner for 2 to go. order 2 of the same thing - something you both like. buy a bottle of wine, a dozen roses, a few candles, and a simple card. then rent some movies and hang out and watch them. she'll appreciate not having to do anything after being at work until 9:00.

oh yeah, and......YOUR WELCOME!!! [/nick burns]

Get a cookbook, and try to cook. It's the effort that women dig, not the results. Even if your food sucks royally, she'll be especially moved if she knows you suck at cooking.
