Default Can anyone here get Mazda parts for cheap?

I'm looking to replace the stock 6-disc changer for the OEM MP3 player that Mazda offers. Best price I found online is around $280....

Does anyone have hookups at a dealer?

I swapped my single disc for the mp3 player in my mazda3. I ordered it it from the states, I think it was mazdastuff.com for roughly $280.

After brokerage fees (F'in UPS) and customs it came to roughly $360(US) which was still a fair amount less than what my dealer was charging, $560 (CDN) ~ $420 (US at the time).

yeah...thats what I plan on doing real soon. Normal CD's are lame!

BacDoc---thanks anyway, but the new MP3 player for the Mazda3/6/RX-8 is a double-DIN unit that fits behind the faceplate of the center console..its not like a standard headunit with buttons on the front. So it wont work.

Give me your 6-disc changer once you've done the swap.

Roger that. Mine was a double DIN and I had a hard time finding a mount and harness when it first came out.

well, its a behind the panel double DIN. Actually, I dont even know if its really double-DIN in size..it just looks like that. Its a modular stereo, only found in the 3, the 6 and the RX-8...

see? its a box behind the dash panel....

Lightbulb

What the crap is all that?

That won't fit at all!

I guess my 03 must have been the last year with a "normal" stereo.

mazdasport will sell you OEM stuff at a discount.....keep in mind it's supposed to be for your car...so make sure it'll fit in the MY you list....otherwise they dump you.
