Default The guy in the office next to me is a lawyer from Philly

Nice guy. Very nice guy - polite, courteous, quiet, the kind of guy you wouldn't mind being locked in a car with for 12 hours. He wouldn't get on your nerves or anything. He never screams at people on the phone and lets the world know he's insulting them too. I never hear him throw stuff around the office either. I've never had someone on the phone with me ask why my office is so loud, despite the fact that the guy is on the other side of an actual wall. Good thing he's not the kind of guy to scream at a teller in the bank when I was also there at the same time.

Really.

My boss does that ****.

I was fingerprinting this lady and he got a call on his cell phone. He went into the other room and took the call. He came out about 20 seconds later and said, "Did you hear that?"

"Hear what?"

*customer looks at him*

"Well I just had to use some harsh words to tell a telemarketer to go away."

"Riiiight...."

Great, dude, you got an adrenaline rush from telling a guy to **** off that probably gets told to **** off 30 times a day.

I'm sure he's not related to the lawyer a few offices down the hall from mine, who listens to his voicemail on the loudest possible setting, causing people two floors up from us to come down and complain.

Oh yeah, don't even get me started on his speakerphone calls. They are hilarious.

You should really hear how he talks to his wife.

The last straw was yesterday, when my boss' secretary went down the hall and slammed his door shut really, really hard.

See, that wouldn't solve the problem. I hear this guy through the wall and the heating ducts.
