Default Subaru Impreza 2.5i ???

I was looking for a while, on here and web...I dont know if the new Impreza has a different engine since last year(pretty new to the Impreza scene).
I was wondering if they have any modifications for the 2.5i engine...isn't it the same as the wrx? well besides being factory turboed and sohc vs dohc...any mods...thanks..

and obviously if its a new engine for the 2.5i hopefully in a year or so they come out with some...thanks again.

In the past, the 2.5l in the N/A models were open deck. If you wanted a turbo, should've gotten a wrx or sti.

Anything can be turbo'd, but it will cost a hell of alot more than buying a rex in the first place.

for blackbox1, here are some working links about how you can't just throw a turbo on a 2.5 to make it a WRX:
