97 2.2 to 2.5 sti.... or 2.0...

this has probably already been asked 100 times but i spent an hour going through threads last night and couldnt find anything to help me... i have a 97 subaru impreza outback sport that just got 5,000 dollars worth of body work done to it and now the engine is going out... for the second time may i add. first one popped at 60,000 and now the second one is making noise a 120,000 even after regular maintence. i just wanna know if anyone has any idea of what a price on a swap for either wrx or sti would be this wont be a mechanic doing it so if you also have any tips on how hard it is or where to find custom part to make it work that would be great. i have always loved the gc8 body style since new subaru's are everywhere, and i love my car and am trying my ass off not to get rid of it but if a swap is to much i wont be putting a 2.2 in it again. so please just help me with any info you got such as mounting, and what is the easiest and even where to find a reasably price sti engine or wrx engine... also have question about upper wings for the rear on how to install them because it looks to me you have to drill through the glass if it is to be done, also does wrx and 2.5 rs interior fit into a impreza wagon? such as seats front and rear from a wrx and door panels off a 2.5 rs???
