Default best utec tuner in the east?

i just got my utec and stage 4 and i was wondering who would be considered the "premier" utec tuner in the east... i was gonna take a little road trip wherever it takes this spring break and get it tuned. and if there is a good one in canada tell me too, bc i really like going up there

Bad stuff about Junior? Like what? I've dealt with him before, and he seemed like a stand-up guy and a good tuner. A little hard to get ahold of sometimes, but that was my only complaint.

TurboXS (TXS) is in Maryland, close to DC. I strongly recommend Nathan and Jermaine. They really know what they are doing and trust that they will do right by any of their customers.

F1Dyno in Maine too, I dont have any experience with them but they seem to specialize in the utec, and their shop car is pretty impressive.

Tony in CT at XXTuning. I have heard good things about others like Franz up at KTR, I have met him, but have never had anything tuned by him. Once you get a tuner and you are happy with him or her, it is like cheating on your wife/girlfriend if you go somewhere else and they hear about it. Have fun trying to get tuned again by your original tuner. Tony has tuned my car 4 times now, everytime I have upgraded. Before my VF22, when I got my VF22, when I first got Water/Meth injection, and when I changed my water injection setup to a different nozzle. He recommended a bigger nozzle since he would be able to tune "more" with it. I took heed, and changed the nozzle and when back to him. The gains speak for themselves.

The thinner lines are the first water injection tune with smaller nozzle, the thicker are the gains with bigger nozzle. That was the only change. UTEC is used for EM. Not using the spare solenoid on the UTEC to run the Water Injection. I have thought about doing it though, seeing if more is possible, instead of using Snow's progressive controller, which I think works great, but I think that UTEC could do better. Tony does a great job, and that is not just UTEC. ECUtek and Access tunes by him are outstanding.

Phil Grabow is another "premier" tuner in the Maryland area if you do not want to travel all the way up North. If you do want to travel up this way I would second Junior at ICS in Connecticut.

Phil is based in Maryland? That's promising... I'd go to him.

If you want to go to Canada for your road trip, stop by in NH and go to TDC Tuning in Concord on your way up. I just had my Cobb custom map made by Jon, and I was very happy. Website with more info is www.tdctuning.com

Stock was 245whp, and 255tq. After the tune, it was 289.4whp and 320tq.

He tunes AccessEcu Pro Tuner, Turbo XS UTEC, Hondata, Uberdata, Chrome, AEM EMS, Autronic, Link, Split second, and that's all I can remember...

Excellent price for my Cobb Pro-Tune - it was $300, and there was about 15-20 dyno pulls to tweak it nicely for Winter gas.

Riftswrx is based close to Chicago and would be closer to you than the others. Great Cobb protune on my car and he's got a good rep with UTEC too. He works with P&L Motorsports in Franklin Park IL.
