Question Power Plus or Vision Plus?

As titled, I am thinking about getting philips power plus or vision plus.
I have seen lot of threads about how good the visions plus is, but not the power plus.
Is that new product? are there any differences?

I think the PowerPlus are over-wattage bulbs, which are a big no-no if you're running the stock wiring harness.

Stick with the VisionPlus. I have a set in my 05 WRX and I really like them. Much more usable light than my old PIAA Extreme White Plus.

Hope that helps.

Philips VisonPlus or the Osram Silverstars are what you should consider:

Yes the PowerPlus will be brighter. But you also have to worry about our PLASTIC headlight housing melting from the extra heat they generate.

Your best bet (and safest) is to stick with the stock wattage bulb (Vision Plus +50%) and get some auxilary driving lights with some super bright bulbs. Is there a reason you need such bright lights?

Default VisionPlus

I just installed VisionPlus bulbs from Powerbulbs.com and been using them over the last couple of weeks. Plenty bright. Has a more even spread of light than the PIAA super plasmas I replaced. No need to change wiring. I just hope they last longer than the PIAA's. Much cheaper. 20bucks vs PIAA @80bucks. Fast service from Powerbulbs and you get a free pair of sidemarker lights with your purchase
Good idea to order 2 pair to have one for backup.
