Default Power steering pump covered under Power Train warranty?

The thread title says it all.

And yes....it's my fault. Snow + Mad Dorifto = Bye-Bye power steering pump.

I am assuming it isnt covered but wanted to ask first.

Probably depends on the failure mode as to the waraanty sucess.

You are out of warranty. It's only covered for 3/36.

But, if it was your fault, it wouldn't be covered anyway. If you have an extended warranty, it might be covered if they can't prove you did it.
