GTBGUY is starting another group buy in the classifieds section, might want to check prices on that out.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy from him or Paul Eklund again, both are great vendors. The only thing is that group buys, while cheaper, can take longer to get you your parts.

Default ???

Why does the center part of the rotor, where the hub attached to, rust so much with Brembo and the Eurorotor don't?

CRAZY KEN

I have both Eurorotors in the front nice and silver finish...Brembos in the rear nice and rusted!!!

ken, maybe your eurorotors are cadmium plated? that would act as a coating between the iron in the rotor and moisture and oxygen, therefore preventing it from rusting.

Did the new rotors coated with a layer of protected oil?

I know the brembo replacement ones do. But dont' know if they still do after they have been drilled or sloted.

If the oil still present, then just dont' degrease the center part and leave the oil on.

Just my theory though.

Crazy Ken - Froggert is right. That's the reason every rotor that I get myself I cad-plate them. And hence the reason why I have only those available in the GB's.

I bought a set of Bradi rotors from Dale Teague (www.teaguesauto.com). They're *supposed* to be less prone to warping than the stock ones, but mine warped quicker. I don't know if it's something I'm doing differently on this car, but I'd never had rotors warp in almost 250k miles of driving - and now I've had two sets of fronts warp in 100k. The Bradi do stop better, and are quieter than the stock ones (I still use stock pads for now, so any difference I notice is due to the rotors).
