Default Help me decide on dp/up combo :)

I just installed a Greddy Evo2 exhaust on my '05 wrx and now i'm looking into buying a high flow catted dp and up.

So here are my options that i'm looking at...

Downpipe:
- Invidia w/ high flow cat (~515$)

Uppipe:
- Crucial (~215$)
- Perrin (~200$)
- Invidia (~140$)

Any of you guys have any suggestions or comments? I'm leaning toward Invidia dp/up since I can purchase and install from the same vendor and would be the least of headaches. However, I kinda like Perrin since their uppipe can mate easily to a Vf22 turbo etc. I am unsure of the other brands however.

I am also thinking of just not dealing with the Uppipe and just install the downpipe at the moment.

Any comments and/or suggestions would be very much appreciated.. thanks!

I would do the following.

Upipe.bosal as it looks just like factory "warrenty issue's"

Dp.Helix catted dp.
Maddadd V2 1 piece catted dp.

I have on the car now.

Bosal uppipe,Helix catted dp & Greddy evo2 & it rocks.

just take your stock one or buy an extra uppipe and gut it yourself! there is no performance gains from a name brand uppipe than a gutted one! its dyno proven

you could find one for 50 bucks or so here in the classified

Stock gutted and helix. (perfect fit and price is nice too) _ I've heard the really cheap bell mouth one's off ebay are just Helix knockoff's and are just as good.

Remember, it's just a piece of metal pipe...

I would get a Helix DP and either a bosal STi replica uppipe or gut the stock one.

If you need a stock UP I got one for sale.

crucial is kinda pricey and i kinda want a full length DP. I am interested in their Up... but it's gonna cost me 208$ + CA tax to ship it to me and they're still going through revisions.

So instead im looking at the invidia catted dp + invidia uppipe. Ill probably get the uppipe ceramically coated at a shop here.

The bosal looks interesting, but that company's rep i'm not too familiar with. Perrin also seems good too, I can get that for about 180 or so. The invidia i can get for 130ish. hmm

i bought the bosal uppipe b/c it looks like an OEM piece and i won't have to change it out for smog.

i also bought the bosal dp and 3rd cat eliminator. the "two piece" downpipe is nice b/c i can run the factory 3rd cat if i want or use the race pipe.

i've got the bosal uppipe as well, pretty good rep and no install woes from what i've heard, i also have the random technology DP...it's a two piece with two high flow cats but it's a 3" with bellmouth(gotta try and be a little legal in CA!). so i can take out the third cat and use a race pipe if i wanted but eh...i got the DP in the for sale thread for 350 shipped
