UTEC & HKS EVC5 Combo

I am installing my Utec/Pro-tuner next week but im not sure if I want the Utec to control my boost levels or keep my EVC along with the UTEC. I guess my biggest question is what would I need to do if I keep my EVC in the car, will the UTEC have problems since im not using the control system that comes with the unit? Any help would be appreciated.

You do not have the use the UTEC boost controller. The UTEC is MAF/MAP based and does not care if it's actually controlling the boost or not.

Hi Kysti, do you have an ENGLISH user manual for the EVC? I got one fitted in my car, but the instructions/ user manual is in Japanese. I don't suppose you know of a link to english or possibly scan the book pls?

if we used external EBC, what setting should we set on the UTEC boost table..?
I am asssuming ECU.
