Hey guys, I run a IRC server for my website ( www.ProCooling.com ), I its got some room on it, just thought I would offer. Would give a way for the local subie nuts ( no relation to 8's ScoobNuts

) to talk in real time.

<b>irc.lostgeek.com port 6667 #mwsoc </b> you can use a normal IRC Client or go to <b>chat.procooling.com</b> and use the web interface. Click on the down arrow in the channel selection and select MWSOC.

There is a bot in there to keep the channel open (SilentBob)

Figure I would help do my part

go in, reg your name, and I will setup Op's for those who ... want/need it.

in addition to that, way back when the board went down for a couple days awhile ago, I put up a channel on efnet called i-club, so those of you on efnet hit #i-club

well, yeah. Most of the servers I used to use don't work anymore, my best friend was an oper on mcs.net, and they packed up shop and closed their doors as a company a lil while ago, and I guess solidstreaming is gone as well. Now I use irc.homelien.no ... Friggen server in norway is my best bet, its retarded, but all the people I've known from irc for almost 6 years are all on efnet at this point.

I got sick of Efnet, Dalnet, and all of those POS and way too flaky IRC servers, so I got the software and set myself up one. ( with a 10,000 person license even

)

It's handled 100 people on the sever at a time with no issue in the past.

I noticed that some of the people here use the forum as a turn based real time chat almost, and thought this could be nice.

<yawn....> I am up way too early today..

and yes it is nicely dead in there much of the time right now, hope'n to get more and more people in there in due time.
