Default which would be better?

I have an 06 wrx, Im going to put on stage 2 as I had on my 02 wrx.

Which would be better

1. getting the cobb accessport (I had one before) and getting PDX tuning to send me a map more custom to my car then the cobbs maps but still off the shelf map

2. drive 14ish hours to get a dyno tune specific for my car using ECUtek

I dont have any plans to mod past stage 2 as this is my daily driver and I want to keep it as reliable as possibly but still have fun with it. So would a custom tune really benefit me on stage 2???

no...thats the closest to us. There is a guy that comes around once in a while when theres a few cars to do and he road tunes them. (Scott Siegal I think his name is) but I have no idea when hes coming next

I know....I had cobb stage 2 on my 02 wrx and really liked it. And I have heard very good things about PDX maps and how they are alot better then the Cobb of the shelf maps.

For convenience Im leaning towards that way.....if I go more then stage 2 (no plans of it though) I would look more at a custom tune then.

Im suprised not more responses on this
