"no chrome "

There is no way l would ever put huge chrome rims on a WRX, just doesn't look right, but each to their own l suppose.

Get some sti splitters, and v-limited lip. Maybe jdm fogs, and it will be even sexier.

Wink all you want, but I'll probably have my 18X8.5 Gunmetal Emotions polished when they get enough nicks/scratches, and you watch, people will worship me. Of course, none of those people will be in the Subie crowd, but who cares, the Subie crowd is back-a$$wards anyway.

I keep hearing that chrome/polished is going to be the new gunmental. I'm amused a bit, as I can't see chrome rims without picturing 24s on some blinged out escalade.

The new "thing" is definitely what BBS calls "Diamond Black". It's basically bright silver with a little black added to the clearcoat. When I went to the autoshow last month it was on a massive amount of cars. Funny thing is, the Scion TC (I think that was the car) wheels pulled it off the best.

There is also a big thing now with writing on the wheel, it seems that if "Forged", the company name, and the exact size/offset isn't stamped into the outer face of the wheel, then it just isn't any good anymore.
