I was just wondering if an 05wrx ecu reflashed with Ecutek will work for an 04wrx

No. Older ECU in newer car. Newer ECU will be looking for sensors not found on earlier cars.

PS: We are not all sitting around anxiously awaiting you next stimulating posts. Perhaps waiting more then 20 minutes would help.
