Default So many sightings and no one knows each other

so many of us post threads about seeing each other and noone knows each other. we need to do a little get together even for lunch at a macdonalds or something. a couple hours would do , so next time we pass each other one the road and do thumbs up we at least say " hey i know that guy !" i am specifically talking about people in the concord lafayette walnut creek area. let me know what you think and if you have any ideas. 2 hours would be enough, and we could even take pictures with all our cars around
hope to hear from a few people! thanks

Be careful about those types of gatherings. We had an S2000 meet at a taco bell and the manager came out and started writing license plate numbers on a clipboard.

We didn't stay much longer after that...

I would also be down, I haven't seen too many Imprezas let alone RSs since I've been back, though I did have an older guy stop in front of my house yesterday while I was working on the legacy (he had a WRX). Even though I'm in Oakland, I think it would be cool.

We should have a fat meet where we all meet each other, especially all you NEW scooby owners. I know Daniel, the guys and all the other OG people have been doing having their meets from way back....but we haven't had a meet in A WHILE.
I feel exactly what you're saying, Rozos. Hey, if you are down to organize something there in the concord area, i'm pretty sure Daios (Eric) and I can come up with something around here. Let us know.
A meet would sure be nice.......

Peace,
Raymond

Actually, quite a few of us know each other. Come to the install fests, auto-x's, etc. - you'll meet lots of people. But yeah, organize a meet and we'll see what happens.

Talking South County Gathering?

I know the people who own the Classic Burger in Los Gatos... It is a cool old burger drive in thing on Los Gatos Blvd. I can gaurentee the there won't be any static, and as a matter of a fact they would be happy to host as long as we don't get to sideways (Thank gawd for AWD!)

There is parking for about 30 cars or so, so I think it would rock to fill the place with scoobys. Let me know if anybody is interested...

Default "Lunch Bunches"

How abt we revive the "lunch bunch" thing. we stopped doing that in a while. I remembered early this year and late last year we used to have a lunch bunch on every 1st friday of the month. Just get together to eat lunch real quick, get to know eachother, and of coarse talk abt cars . It worked for a couple months. I guess now everyone got busy all of a sudden or something. but yea i think we should start the lunch bunches again. At least some sort of gathering everymonth like how we used to do. How abt we decide on a day for every month to have a gathering.

Lunch Bunch anyone?

Hey any type of a lunch meet would be cool. I work 4 days in dublin and 1 day in Milpitas. I'd work my schedule around a weekday meet!

a meet would be kool but it needs to be on a Saturday for me to show up since I work in Redwood Shores and it would be hard to disappear for 2-3 hours even on a Friday to make it to the south or east bay
Now a Friday meet around Redwood shores would be A-OK

Cheers

T.

s2k: did you also meet at Wendys on Wolfe and El Camino last week? I saw 5 S2000's 1 yellow, the rest were silver. I was there with my stock looking Impreza L with 17" wheels. One of the S2000 guys was checking out my paradas. (SP)

I would be down to meet up with you guys. I picked up my WRX two Saturdays ago (750 miles on it already... ouch) and haven't seen a Subaru since! 250 miles to go!!! Ahh... SO hard to stay below 4k.

Cool, sounds like a good idea. I've seen a few RS's around. A guy in a 99' stoped to talk to me when I was filling up for gas, and was very cool. I thought it was nice. I also see a blue 01' RS parked on campus...some old guy drives it though....I've also seen a few WRX's in town....not many. But I think i'd be a good idea.
