Default Ecutek vs AP

I haven't heard or read much about Ecutek. How good are they, reliability, more power???, compare to the AP.

One is a tuned stock ECU, the AP is a map transportation device that comes with upgraded maps for the stock ECU. Apples vs. Oranges IMO.

Get ECUTek, it'll work alot better for you Sooby1. The AP is hard to use, and it only gives you better gasmilage, not more power. noob.

What a Nimrod!!, pathetic waste of space. You truly justified your ignorance. Go back to school and be more productive.

Can it be tune (Protune) like the AP? I have an STI going on Stage 2 with TBE. It's just the lack of Ecutek tuner in my area that is holding me back.
Hard to use? can you be more specific. Do you have Ecutek now? Thanks

Gee, you have no desire to do bickering fest but you seem to have a habit of barging in some other peoples thread, antagonize them like you're the shiyet, then "oh , here's the one you're looking for." little Ricky Rescuer.
Btw, I've read those before, nothing new. Got anymore

Awesome!

I have chosen to go with an ECUtek tune. I didnt really want to go with the AP+street tuner for multiple mods besides TBE.

You are the one who asked the oldest question in the book. The least you can do is respect the long-standing forum members who suggest you search for the topic since there are about nine million threads already covering it.

Amen. If I see another thread asking which should I get I'll scream. You left out a "many", because it's been covered many, many, many, many times!

If you read anything about the two products, all these questions would be completely invalid.
