Default ecuExplorer questions

I am new to the datalogging thing, and just received the PDX Cobb maps for my 02 WRX. I am going to try to load the latest version of the software on my laptop to do some runs. I have seen threads about loan values and stuff like that. What are these? I printed off the manual, but still do not quite understand everything (probably because I have not been in the program yet). I am planning on jsut using the logging part of this, not doing any self adjsuting to the ecu. Any help would be appreciated.

the software includes pdf instructions. read up on it and it should be pretty easy. logging is cool - you have the option of using the defog switch to start and stop datalogging.

Log plent with both partial throttle and full throttle. The software is pretty straightforward.

Post up what your results are

Well, I got it installed on my laptop, and was able to read real time. Now I just need to figure out how to log stuff.

Don't log too many parameters at once. Probably need

RPM
Maf voltage (load)
boost
timing
a/f
knock

???
