I would probably rescale the injectors down a bit - say 650 ish and begin there instead of 850. I have the PE800's and when scaled at 800 - the car will run like total poop. Also, check wrxhackers.com for a starting point map (at your own risk) and then carefully drive yourself to a tuner. Just my opinion.

If the injectors are PE I would start near the stock settings and work up from there. That being said, the PE's are a dual stage injector that flow like stock at idle and low IDC's but flow more as IDC's increase.

YMMV

With my 850s I started at 800 and worked up by watching my fuel trims with an ODBII scanner... . The car ended up being fairly happy with them set to 860cc...

Also- when set to map 0 but the injector compensation scaled to 860cc my car ran PIG rich - way out of range for the fuel trims to correct. I'm not certian - but I made the assumption that map 0 - being stock ecu control - also meant injector compensation wasn't applied... In other words you're on the stock ecu entirely. But maybe someone can confirm / correct this...

That being said I was never really satisfied with the UTECs control of them. The scaling is great but it would have been REALLY nice to have dead time compensation as PEs have about double the response speed of stock/modified injectors...

Really?

I'm trying to figure this out right now... the general agreement is that the dead time is identical to stock?

They say the PE top feeds are slow. The side feeds work ok with the UTEC.
