Default Turbo Legacy Intercoolers

Anyone know where I can get an intercooler for a Turbo Legacy? If I remember right, Subaru made one for it, but I can't find it. If you know a nice aftermarket one (reasonably priced), a vendor for that would be great too.

Thanks.

Outback Motorsports can get Legacy JDM Air-Water ones, but it's a pain to get them working right.

1st gen WRX slanted style also work.

JC will sell you a kit, for a price, air-water that'll probably cool it more than you'll ever need.

Saab IC's are popular too, but again, not exactly bolt-in.

1st gen WRX also work as in bolt right in, or WILL work, but like the JDM or Saab ICs?

I'll look into the JC kit.

The JC kit is the only one i know of that's made to fit easily onto the Turbo Legacy. All others take a certain amount of fabrication to work correctly.

It's around $1500 for a full, very effective air-water kit.

Expensive? Yes...but it's made to work on Turbo Legacies as a bolt in.

Working site? None that i know of. I could probably dig up a phone #, if you're interested.

I got my air-water intercooler from Outback. Good people to work with, ask for John if you call there. (any tips for hoocking it up?)
As for the JCS one, it's probably worth the money, but you'll be waiting awhile for it. Their # is 720-898-0948. I call them daily about my exhaust. They are re-doing their website. I would tell you to ask for Kevin but he "no longer works here" Prolly got fired/quit, he had a lot of problems with them. I would not reccomend JCS to anybody. Unless you go to there shop, or live in Colorado.
Mike
p.s. I can get you the # for outback if you want it

Kevin is gone?

Oh my...that's reason enough for me to never deal with them again. He was the only one who seemed to have any idea what was going on.

Have a Nice Day? Still deciding

Still deciding whether or not to invest in a intercooler. I mean, I know I really want one, but I think it would be cheaper to buy one from Outback and try installing it myself, But I know that will be hell... dang.. hard decision.
