How much are you looking to get for the engine and what's included?

WRX and RS trannies are different clutch set-ups. Won't work. Tranny has to be from a NA Subie.

Can make it work with not too many problems. I know of a guy running around with a wrx tranny in his rs.

BUT, the WRX has the centre diff reduction which means you'd also have to change the rear diff.

I've got the complete motor (intercooler, turbo, ecu...) and I also have the stock exhaust too if need be. The motor had 50 000 km and was swaped out for a JDM STi motor.
I was thinking $3000.00.
btw sorry about highjacking your thread.

hey highjack all you want, i dont care, but im looking for a tranny, not a motor

if you had a 04wrx tranny with rear diff for sale than i would consider it, even though i think i just finally figured out a clutch combo that id have to turf, but it would be worth it for a stronger tranny and nicer gear ratios

Hey, Blackgold has that FXT in their yard. Probably more than you want to spend, but at least its a tranny designed for boost right?

hmmm, do you know if id need the axles too or just the rear diff. it might be a decent option and i may be able to get a better price on it if the guy i used to know still works there(we got busted racing up 105st hill a few years ago)

thanks for the thought
