Default UTEC Question

My friend is getting a used TurboXS UTEC from a guy who had custom maps made for his stg4 wrx. How can my friend get the base maps for it so he can run stg2?

so will his utec come with a cable to hook to his computer. Sorry for all the questions I'm just trying to help my friend, I have a EcuTek so I have no clue about a UTEC.

When you buy a UTEC new does it come with a cable to hook it up to a computer?

Yes. If it doesn't you can pick one up at pretty much any computer shop.
