Impreza GC8 head gaskets for a 2.5/2.2 hybrid??

Heya,
I'm building a 2.5L from a 99 forester with 2.2 heads to mount my 1.8 intake on to install in a 93 GC8. Anyone know where to get the thick head gaskets for this conversion?????

Thanks

i dont know about thickest, get STI head gaskets, they are triple layered you will definatly avoid headgasket failure that n/a 2.5s are notorious for

Default compression reduction

i'm not tryin to counter failure im trying to keep from getting valve slap and reduce compression to about 10.5:1 right now it should be about 11.5:1 best i can figure. But if the STI gaskets are 3 times thicker that might do it, not sure though.

Just get the STi gaskets. They are not thicker, but I built the EXACT set up that you are looking at. phase 1.5 block, EJ22 heads and STI metal HG's. You will be fine...
