Default Debating on exterior vinyl color

My 02 silver bugeye needs body work.

Colors im thinking are identicle wrblue matte, yellow matte or gloss, white matte or gloss.

Im really liking the look of white.
Wrb is too much of a common color here for some reason, the yellow i always go school girl when i see sonic yellow wrx's,
And well white just looks sexy.

Any tips on color?
I plan on apply my self, a piece a day after work.

Matte color is about 220$ for 10meters long and 152cm wide http://www.vnvinyls.se/matt-vinyl-10m-x-152cm/119-0

here is the blue Im considering its very similar to WRBlue http://www.vnvinyls.se/pearl-frozen-...m-x-152m/325-0

Also I know most of you guys dont know swedish as I can barely get by still. If you for some reason want to look more into the site and maybe another color use google translate, just copy paste the website name into google translate blam, website translated

Oh yea finally got my EU license plates last week! They look good

I agree with white, don't see too many Bugeyes around in that color.

Ive looked at pictures of white bugeye's amd they just look awesome. Especially when they have small tiny details like a few black trims

Yeah matte white is a nice look. If you are gonna wrap it I'd go with white or a light gray.

I did a light matte grey, once. Every guy and their mother will ask you when you're painting it, what color you're painting it, or if your car is primered.

I saw an 08+ sti hatch today on the NJ turnpike either wrapped or painted in a matte dark grey or dark green, it looked like it belonged to batman, very nice.

Yeah, this is why I wouldn't do a matte grey; it does look like primer. I personally think matte white would look great but matte WRB could be cool too.

I seen a Ferrari last year that had a matte white wrap and honestly it wasn't that great. It may look better on you bug eye but I'd go matte black IMO

Meh few years back i did like matte black, now its just meh.

Only problem i have with doing darker cars is when i open the doors the silver will show. Lighter color like white will be less obvious

I agree, matte black was awesome and still is, it's just overdone.
Which is why I went with matte dark grey. I love it.

Have you taken a look at the satin white or satin white pearl from 3m?

I was looking into either matte white, or satin white/pearl white before I decided on the matte dark grey.

But honestly, almost any color would look sick on a bugeye.
I'll be looking forward to a ton of pics once you're done!!

Dark Green was what I was thinking. You don't see that everyday and it doesn't attract too much attention.

If you are going to install it yourself, get a premium product. 3m, avery are decently priced and look AMAZING. Arlon is also amazing.

A couple of suggestions:

-Matte film is a B if this is your first install
-Premium film is 10x better learning curve than medium grade film, even if it is more expensive.
-you need way less film than you think you do 50 should do it with leftovers, assuming your learning curve is decent
-get a laminated gloss film, looks better than paint. I clean mine with vinyl stain remover and then apply amorall. only wash it about every three months, looks incredible.
-PM me with any questions

History:
I decided to wrap my car.
tried a mid grade product in matte black ($500 a roll).
Extremely painful experience.
got upset, ordered a premium product.

Thanks for the suggestion! Unfortunely for me it gets even more expensive when ordering from the US since I get charged taxes when it comes into the country, unless its small stuff I usually ship to my parents first in Iowa then ship to me to avoid Taxes.

I am going with 10m x 152cm which is ALOT but its not that expensive and gives me room for error, I think il start with the doors as they have no damage. Got a Vinyl kit which includes scapper, knifes, etc and a small 3M Primer, and some magnets all for roughly 300$ shipped to my house all made by a Swedish Company. my car obviously needs work but il post pics as I progress!
