Question Pricing @ a dealership

if a used car WRX was Listed at a dealership for 25,900. what is a reasonable price to ask or get it at.

the black book as 21,000 but i know that blackbook value on the Subaru are totally wrong.

I was hoping for 23,000 is that too low or should i push to try and get it there.
need some advice.

one saleman told me listed was 25,900 another said 25,000 but i could probably get it for 24,000

so i am hoping 23,000.

thanks for your opinion

Year, KM, condition..... Kinda gotta know info. It all depends what a dealership paid for the car. If they paid more than they should of, they won't budge on the price. If they got it cheap, then they usually will budge on the price.

what dealership did you go to? if you want to pay 23,000 don't budge. ask for 21,000 and work your way up. that's what I did and dropped the price of my sti from 45000 to 41000.

my old wagon is selling for $25,999 at the stealership.
They gave me $20k for trade in.

I'd say that $23k is a good place to start. Just stick to your guns, and maybe you'll get lucky.

good luck.

To go down too much they need to know you're on the brink of buying something, from someone else. Tell them you got a deal setup on $22k SRT-4 or something and were about to go pick it up but would rather the Subaru, but only if they can match the price. Hey, its not they don't use dirty tricks either.
