Sent you an email also, Chris. I'm interested in the SARD intake, and the Stromung stainless exhaust, provided my wagon's open back won't turn it into an big, booming echo chamber.

Hi TRi,

I am interested in the carbon fiber trim for 97 Legacy. Got any picture? How many pieces are there? How red is that? If the color is good, then I would like to take it for $100 shipped to Toronto.

Just curious - why does this stuff have to come off to take the car road racing? Silly me would think that stuff that improves the handling of the car would probably be good for open track duty. Are you going into some sort of spec series?

I am interested in the Stromung muffler if is has the single tip. Also the red/carbon fiber dash kit? Do you still have that? If not where can i buy the kit from, possibly in regular look carbon fiber? Is there a website for TRi tuning? Thanks.

Etam,

Sure. $100 shipped.

Pat,
We need to go to some different parts, from different manufactuers. We're working on a sponsorship deal, so thats important.

As far as what we are doing, we'll, everyone will see soon.

Can't seem to raise TRi. Does ANYONE know if a Stromung in a wagon will drive me to madness with the sound? I recall talking to Mike Shields a while back about that, and he indicated that the open back would be a boomer. I'm wondering if anyone has any specific experiences with this.

Although my wagon is a MY00, I'm sure the sound level should be comparable to the MY99. I have the dual tip Stromung, and the sound level is bearable to me. Even my wife doesn't mind. It's noticeable during acceleration, but you won't notice it on the freeway. I think the Stromung is one of the more mellow sounding muffler out there.

I did get a chance to ride in a sedan with the same muffler, and it's definitely more quiet than the wagon.

Call me captain flip-flop, but the Stromung is on the way to me. Apparently you only get power loss with a full 2.5" system, not solely the muffler.

We'll see about the sound issues. But I figure for $300 shipped, I'll be able to get the money back if it's too loud for me.

OK, Captain flip-flop . I think you'll like the sound. It's a deep mellow sound that no in-line 4 and coffee can muffler can match.

I did take a pass on the SARD intake, though. A link was posted to a recent test that showed filtering performance that I find rather unsettling. I'll stick with the stock box for now, or maybe stick a K&N in there until someone comes up with a cold air system for our rides that doesn't sound obnoxious like too many intakes.

Boy...P1 wheels, stainless Stromung, drilled rotors and CF pads with stainless lines, AGXs, Whiteline springs on the way, I think the only thing left is a turbo!
