Default Yet another Tire Fitment Question on 04 STi

04 STi:
-Tein Flexes
-SSR Competitions 17 x 8.5 +48

Looking at getting Falken Azenis RT 615s 245/45/17 of course they don't make 245/40/17s , but then again with these ****ty PA roads I am afraid of going 40 or lower. Because my SSRs are dual usage (track/street).

I know I might have to roll fenders, but would rather not. Hoping height adjustment on Teins will work.

Matt

I guess you are asking if they will rub? Probably.

rear fenders will rub depends on how low your suspensions are. That is it.
I got ES Tarmac 17x8.5+48 with 245/45-17 RT615s, no rub due to the fenders are rolled previously.

Roll the fenders a little, its worth it

BTW VERY nice choice in wheel/tire, that is exactly what I would go with myself.

Thanks, Yeah Tein Flexes, Cobb Sways, Cusco struts, Gt Spec Lower Arm Bar, GT Spec T Brace, & soon Fender Brace along with my SSRs & Falkens I should be able to hold my own at the track.... Also did alot of brake upgrades: Hawk HPS pads, ATE Brake Fluid, Goodridge SS Lines, & hopefully 2 piece rotors I should be able to STOP as well

Was hoping not to have to roll fenders, but thought I may. Just hope paint doesn't chip.

Matt
