To start the spring season and upcoming track and autox season for 2006, we are going to have a group buy on Swift Coilover Competition Spec Replacment Springs. These springs have a longer stroke and most linear rate you can find in the market place today. Using Swifts unique spring material, H5S.TW, Swift engineers are able to wind springs that have thinner wires, wind less coils than the competition and have a spring that is lighter overall for reducing unsprung weight. These are the same springs used by JGTC teams and the Super Taikyu Imprezas in Japan. ![]() Swift makes the following sizes of springs to fit your coilover applications: Inner Diameter: 60mm (BLUE) 65mm (Brown) 70mm (Green) Free Length: 6 to 11inches Rates: 3kg/mm to 34kg/mm NOTE: Certain Spring combinations are not available. Price Breakdown for springs is as follows: 1 Spring - $95USD Shipped 2 Springs - $180 USD Shipped 4 Springs - $340 USD Shipped If an individual purchases more than 4 springs, then please PM us. If you would like to purchase Swift assist or helper springs then contact us for what is available from Swift. If you are unsure about a size that is offered, you can either PM us or email us at sales@mann-engineering.com. When ordering, please tell us the inner diameter, free length, and rate that you are looking to purchase. We will stop taking orders on April 15th and will have the springs shipped out on April 31st. We will take sometime to sort and make sure we get in all the springs for everyone who is participating in the group buy. If a particular application of spring becomes out of stock, you will be notified immediately and an ETA on when that particular spring will be back in stock. To participate in this group buy, we require a minimum of a 50% deposit to be made ahead of time to guarantee your spring or set of springs. We accept Paypal at sales@mann-engineering.com, Visa, MasterCard, money order, cahsier's check. CA residents will be charged 8.25% sales tax. Your springs will not be shipped until the full amount is received. If ordering from our website, you will be charged shipping and the regular price of the spring. Please mention that you are part of the NASIOC group buy and you will be refunded the difference and the shipping costs. Please do not provide PO Box address as our shipper does not deliver to them. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Thanks, Gary Mann Engineering www.mann-engineering.com

I am currently using spring rates of 5f/4r on my GC chassis. After a day at the track I am starting to consider using stiffer springs, at the limit there is just alot of body roll, as to what spring rates I might get I'm unsure, but I'm thinking around 7/6 or 8/6 something around there.

Who is the current manufacturer of your springs and what coilover system you are using? We have found that there is a very wide variance between each manufacturer. Between a JIC 6kg and a Cusco 6kg, the two are dramatically different in their rates. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Thanks, Gary Mann Engineering www.mann-engineering.com |

Gary-
We'll be looking to buy some of your springs AFTER we get our car set up. We need to determine what rates we're going to use before we take the plunge on your uber-springs. It's cheaper to test with other springs at $100 a pair and then buy yours after we know what we definately need. I've read up on Swift's and they are impressive, just not economical for testing. That's why some of us have not taken the plunge on these yet. (I will soon though, just not done testing yet) Dave Mac #122 STU |

Sounds fair. Just let me know what you will be looking for and I can get things going. Keep in mind that many other parts are not at the rates that they claim to be. We know because we tested many and some rates never even hit what they advertise. What coilover setup do you have? If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
