Thumbs up Hodges Subaru - Ferndale, MI (service)

Mad props to Bill, Ben, Greg, John and the rest of the crew at Hodges Subaru in Ferndale, MI. I took my WRX in last week for a few issues - stupid idle, stupid sounding engine, and stupid fuel smell. They were able to fix the first two issues that day, and they ordered the part for the third issue. I went in today and they installed the new fuel rail update for me. They were very professional, and even hooked me up with a ride so I could get back to my house so I didn't have to wait around all day.

I solidly recommend their service department!

Sorry I couldn't set you up in that loaner, Phil still has not come back with it yet

Did you give your dad some tips on how to properly use an ice scraper?

Thanks Tony, glad we were able to take care of you!

I pissed him off with the pricing as well (you are not going to find it cheaper on the net! ) I want to make money installing the stuff

Good luck with it and let me know how it goes. I still haven't heard anything on our end yet.

Yeah, I have a nice display rack set up.

My paycheck yesterday had a little note on the memo section.

It said.

"Nice rack "

You'll have to send me a picture of it sometime. Then when I need ideas, I can steal yours..... (hey, you'd never know about it! just kidding)

No problem.

I was quite surprised how cheap I got everything for.
We were expecting $500 for materials to get it started.

I got the racks, shelves, hangers, mounting hardware etc.... for $119.19

So that left me with some $$$ to get some banners made up.

Sounds cool...

Chris (OrlandoSTi) and I were talking about this again the other day and he said the owner is really interested in getting into it. But I think he wants to get the new Subaru building up and running first. They haven't started construction yet. They just finished refirbishing the Mazda showroom because they had an inspection. Apparently, Mazda had to inspect the facility before providing any money for future repairs. From what I heard, they failed inspection, so I don't know what is going to happen next. That may be why the Subaru building has not been started yet. I just can't wait to get away from the Mazda guys (we share a drive). They are driving me nuts. I swear sometimes they have no experience when they talk to customers and my customers just look at me and say "did he just say that?"

I think we hijacked this guys thread.....sorry

It seems like whenever I go down there, it turns into a family reunion!

Hey, call me / PM me if you ever get any accessports in. I've been interested in those for a while, and I might as well support you guys if i'm going to get one.

And it doesn't seem like it would take much to piss John off...

Not a problem.

The real challenge is getting John to smile
