An ion walks into a bar. He has a frenzied look on his face as he begins to make his way around looking all around the place.

The bartender takes notice, asking, "Something wrong buddy?"

The ion looks over and replies, "I think I left an electron here last night!"

The bartender gives a puzzled look taking a quick glance around before replying, "Are you positive?"

It depends on what thermite needs to react. But if you had a thermite reaction in a package painted with starlite on the inside, then the package wouldn't even get hot on the outside.

I watched this announcement in 1993 in England while at college and the tv guy had a blow torch and was blasting the piece of plastic he was holding in tongs. The tongs glowed red hot and he dropped the plastic, then took his gloves off and picked it up, it was still cold.

The other tests they did on Starlite they took it up to 10,000 degrees C. pretty hot.

Anyway Maurice (pronounced morris) is working on some kind of spray for furniture to make it completely flame proof, last I heard. should make nomex look like kindling.

No, the Bear suit guy is Canadian, Maurice Ward is an English guy. The bearsuit guy is poor, Maurice Ward has turned down 100 million pounds for his formula. No doubt one of them is now working with the military for applications to keep people from getting hurt. but which one?

Lots of misinformation out about it but you can find out most everything here.

Starlite Technologies http://www.starlitetechnologies.com/

Anyway, yes paint Marauder with a clear coat of starlite and never worry about it burning up.
