Angry OMG! My car rides like a chop spring rice now

After having no luck finding a set of shocks for my MY00 Legacy, I decided to put my Tein S-Tech spring on the car for the track day.

It was a big big mistake. The car is way under damped. Although, it does not bounce up and down repeatly, the large upward travel is very annoying.

I tried to take some of the well known turns. Results were not good. Too much suspension travel and the car was not stable due to the rough surface. I hope the smooth track surface will minimize the problem.

The car also sits lower than my expectation. There is no gap between the tire and the fender. I am afraid it will go even lower as the spring breaks in.

Anyone find shocks for MY00 legacys yet? If I can't find a set of shocks soon, I guess I will replaced it with Tein HA, $$$$$ ;(

Call Teagues or SPD and see what they can get for you. I'm sure SOMETHING has to be available...

I have searched 2 month with no luck. The KYBs only works up to 99. Koni doesn't make one. GAB doesn't have one.

I checked with WRX_Gril for some B4 shocks, but never heard anything back. Sym/Blistein shocks are there, but $$$. I would rather get Tein coilover for that price.

well, I'm sure that someone must make a shock to fit the 2000 Legacy.. if someone made the springs. I'd check out the part # from factory and compare the # to an 2000 RS' If they are the same, you can run any shock made for the RS. I hope that helps
