They aren't that bad to ship, FWIW. Slap a label on them, wrap tape all the way around that part of the tire, drop em off. No need to box them. With wheels is another story, although I did takes shipment of steelies with tires before, but we didn't care that much about the steelies.

Yeah I would ship, I just thought I would try local first and not have to deal with shipping. I've shipped tires before and yes its pretty painless.
