Default Engine not running right; need some input

Hey guys, I haven't posted much but read alot. I already searched the topic and just want some fresh input. I haven't found exactly my symptoms...

I have UP/DP/TBE and Cobb AP Stg 2 93oct. Recently my car started sputtering a bit and seems to have a loss of power, NOT jerking like a bad plug wire. It is starting to smoke from the exhaust and smells like oil burning. The sound of the engine has changed to a more muffled and deeper note. I dont have any CELs and I ran the codes on the AP and nothing came back. Only issue I can think was that I was running a cheap CAI for about 3 weeks with the Stg2 and just now reverted back to the stock box with K&N panel and elbow. Also, I reinstalled the O2 sensor back in my catless UP during install since I didn't have a plug....need to do it.

Possible options:
1. Fouled plugs
2. Coil pack malfunction
3. Turbo going out
4. Maybe some kind of bad ground
5. MAF or O2 sensor going out

Thanks for any help

The exhaust smells like oil? how much smoke?

you might take the turbo off (or at least the y pipe) and seeif its dumping oil into the intake tract, maybe unbolt the downpipe and see if there is oil residue after the turbo. (you might have to run the car, and shut it off before it gets hot enough to burn off the oil)

It had been a cheap Ebay CAI, ERZ or something.

There is enough smoke that I see it in my mirrors and smell it inside. It is quite visible. It is puffing out, but not billowing. I was thinking about taking off the downpipe to check for oil, also taking out a couple of spark plugs too. The car only has 22000 miles on it. I just dont think the plugs would make it burn oil. It would be fuel.
