When you say you have everything necessary to run the VF34, did you include an upgraded fuel pump?

I think you need it to run the STi pinks with the bigger turbo on a WRX else the turbo sucks the fuel rails dry when it tries to reach full boost and therefore never makes it to full boost.

if you didn't upgrade the fuel pump then that would be the first thing i would do. its only like 80 bucks for the insurance alone of not running lean or not making the fuel rail pressure to get the 550 ish cc's of fuel out that cobb is tunned for. my other guess is you might need to pull the restrictor out of the wastegate line. my friend had that problem and harman motive removed the restrictor in the wastegate line.

i had the EXACT same problem... i did the helper spring mod. Do a search for it, if you cant find anything just let me know. What you really need though is a protune. Cobb was no help at solving this problem

I had the same thing happen. You do need a FP to run that map. I used a helper spring also in the meantime to achieve target boost. You can find these at Home Depot, hobby spring. Just rig it on your wastegate so it creates more tension in keeping it closed.

I'd be willing to bet the problem is with your map though. Once I loaded a protuned map I no longer needed the spring, and was getting on boost much faster and hitting all targets.
