Default To the guy in the Black '06 STi in Miami Lakes...

You sir, are an arse whole. You must be another Honda-convert that went out and bought him self the fastest rice car he could.

Learn about the history of your car. Don't flip off a GC owner because yours is faster. For the record, I gave you a "hang loose" sign... not a "bird" when I passed you.

Once upon a time, the Subaru community was like a fraternity. We were like Harley owners. We would wave to eachother. Pull eachother over in parking lots to chat about our great cars....

...then SOA imported the turbo, and since then its all turned to sheet.

I guess my next car will be a Mopar. (No, not an SRT-4... although, they are F4ST3R)

Oh yeah... your grille is ugly too! :P

HAHAHA! Damn straight.

The best part of his "ricer flyby" was that he passed me when I was behind a truck.

John, now that you have sold that Miata( I know not even related) you need to change the "and a turbo Miata too"

Still, I must agree. Though new to the community, I've been welcomed by all. For this I thank you.

Now to you Wedge, enjoy the daily driver you just bought. ;-)

I'm not gonna say I'm an "old schooler", because I'm not. But the attention subaru has earned form the Ricer/Asshat crowd erks me. They mar our good name.

A couple weeks ago I tried to wave to an STi on 595. He just punched it and went weaving all throughout traffic at Mach .91. Thought that was kinda cool.

I still thinks it's kinda funny that the only thing that ever try to race me are american cars.........

I think maybe once a civic tried to race me, but on several occasions have american car owners (mustangs, a trans-am...) gone out of their way to make asses of themselves.

Yup, oddly curious. I recently had a young lady "try" me at a light. I was on the phone with Scooby South ordering some stuff. The light goes green and she's off like a rocket chirping 2nd gear in her brand new Mustang with supercharger!!!! Knucklehead!!

I know the feeling bro. I get people asking me "where's the other two doors?" or "is that an STi?" and I laugh of course but when you get dissed by a punk in a subie, it definately hits a sore spot.

Oh well, I hear you GC guys in south florida have some bad ass setups so hopefully he'll get spanked by someone soon and learn his lesson.

Yeah I can tell the newbie scoobie driver from the true enthusiast. The enthusiast still flashes back at me in my L wagon. The ricer wonders why some gray haired dude in a station wagon just flashed him.

I still get weird looks from old ladys in foresters when i flash them.

they just don't get it.

but every now and again i catch an enthusiast off gaurd and they'll flash back, or at least wave/hide their eyes.

There's a girl who has a new Legacy GT that goes to UCF. It's hilarious, we pass each other in opposite directions almost every Tue-Thu. I've given up on flashing my brights at her, she doesn't even look at me

if he's a black on silver 06 then i've run into him also.

he went to my gym a couple times and acted like a real douche (took forever in a machine. he would stop to talk and he would leave all his weight racked)

i can't imagine someone like that being great in traffic....
he's a tan skinny kid with dark hair right?

Bastard

yep... he definately thought he was the ISHT and that he and his car were the baddest things on the road...

I'd love to show him a close up of a guard rail...
