Default I need a CEL code identified

If anyone can help me I got the code pulled off of my car. The code that came up was, "P1443 Mfr Controled Aux Emiss Cntrls" That's exactly what the scanner brought up. If anyone could help me out and tell me what this might be I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm also the same guy with the WRX that has a knock.

the manual says that it indicates that the evaporative emissions systems vent control function is somehow faulty - it recommends first checking the vent line hoses - specifically, clogging of the vent hose between the charcoal canister and the drain valve, the one between the drain valve and the air filter, and to check the drain filter to make sure it's not clogged. The next step is to check the drain valve itself to see if it operates properly - it says you turn the ignition switch to off, connect the test mode connector at the lower portion of the instrument panel on the drivers side, then to turn the ignition switch to "on" and the valve should function.

Your gas cap was probably left loose, or you filled the car while it was running.

Thanks for the info. I'll have it checked out as soon as I can.

This code is telling the computer that there is an improper fuel supply.
Yeah, check gas cap, then check for:
Clogging of vent hoses between canister and drain valve, Clogging of vent hose between drain valve and air filter, Clogging of drain filter.

See if any of these are the culprit?
