Default Projector Head light Question

Ok, I have them wired up right, I think. Well any ways what my problem is that one of the Projectors is not coming on. So here comes the dumb question how do I change the bulb in it or dose it have one? Also dose any one knows where the little red wire goes to? I know it's not the power, hi, or low so what else is there. I canít seem to figure this one out on my own so any help will be appreciated.

Thanks, Kelso

Need more details.

What kind of projectors?
what kind of ballasts?
What kind of ignitors?

pictures would probably be useful to understand what you're working with.

The JDM Projectors take 3 different types of bulbs:

Projector = Low Beam = H1
Reflector = Hi Beam = H3
Driving Lamp = accessory bulb number 168

To change the bulb on the low beam, it's a similar method as your old lights (except on the JDM's - you have to remove the grey cap).

Are you talking about the red wire on the JDM socket? According to the diagram I used to wire mine up, Red=Power (Black=Low, Yellow=High, Blue=Ground)

yeah the JDM projectors. Thanks for the bulb #'s Cajual but after I take off the grey cap I can just pull or twist out the bulb all I can see are two lil screw i guess that hold the bulb in? But my wire colors are; LH: Red- high, yel/blu - low, red/blu - power, lil red- ??? and RH: Red- high, yel/blu - low, blk/yel - power, lil red- ???

Thanks, Kelso

They're actually ridiculously easy to change, you just unscrew the gray cap that's in the back of the head light unit itself and there will be a metal clip that is under pressure and when you undo the bulb will literally fall out. Pull of the plug, and viola.

Throw the new bulb in there all the while being careful not to touch it with your fingers (I wasted $30 doing that the first time I had to change a set of bulbs) and plug it in.

I think you assumed he spent way more on headlights than he did.

WOW i feel dumb, lol. Well I got them in, wired and changed the bulbs. All I needed to do was look a lil harder, lol. Well thanks for all the help and info every one. Man alot of people had made it seem like it was going to be a big deal to wire them up but it's not really.

Thanks, Kelso
