Question E-town wheels

Anyone have any leads for steel wheels for MY00 2.5RS in Edmonton (or anywhere in Alberta) besides Subaru City? I'm looking for 15" as the rubber will be less expensive and side wall height shouldn't matter too much in winter.
I was quoted $70 a wheel at Subaru City and $90 for 16" wheels. If anyone knows of any alternatives or even has an old set of wheels to sell I would sure appreciate any info.
I'm also looking around for local dealers for Nokian tires.
Vince

Vince,

I'm afraid I tried (and failed) last year to find an alternative to 15" steel wheels for our subies. For whatever reason, there wasn't an aftermarket steel wheel that wouold clear the brake calipers on my wife's Legacy (on slightly larger than our Imprezas). The $70/wheel is cheaper than the typical price they ask during other months of the year. I'd buy them if I were you.

My 2 cents.

Cheers,
MB

Vince,
That's the same price i bought my steelies for last year. I went to Tire Warehouse, but their 50 dolla steelies didn't clear our front brake calipers. sucky no doubt. But oh well.

Like markus said, i'd buy them, cause when he went during the winter months he was quoted $90 per wheel.....right markus?

Get the wheels Vince, $70 is a good price for something that you know will fit. But FYI, 15" steelies for the PT Cruiser will clear the calipers, it's the right bolt pattern but the offset will give you a slightly wider track, +42 (not all to bad for winter) but will be of inferior quality compared to the Subie stuff.

Kal Tire has the exclusive on Nokian brand tires. Those Haka-loogi-ah tires are the ultimate Canadian winter tire. Sucks that only one store carries it but c'est la vie. Kal Tire has them competitively priced however.
