Default Turbo exhaust advice???

I need feed back on cat backs for my 01 RS. It's gonna be turbo in a couple weeks. I have everything I need right now except an exhaust. I don't want a loud muffler. I'm willing to sacrifice some back pressure for a little quiet. How's the Stromung cat back preform on a RS-T? Please give me some feedback guys.
Thanks.

I have the stromung RS-T exhaust and love it.... nothing else beats it in terms of looks and sound.

Well, if you want quiet, you can't beat the STi muffler. With a turbo, you don't need a resonator--a single cat plus the backbox is nice and quiet. It's a little bit growlier than the stock RS exhaust at higher rpms, but never annoying. In terms of backpressure, it's fine for low boost, but will certainly be too restrictive at higher power levels.

Where can I buy a STi muffler. Is it just the muffler or can I get a mid-pipe also. Thanks

Mike Shields sold me just the muffler and the attached pipe for $300. www.spdusa.com

Edit: also, Mastro was clearancing Prodrive mufflers for $400 bucks a couple of months ago. They may have one left. Here's the thread: http://i-club.com/forums/showthread....threadid=68844

LVSUBARU - the Brullen turbo cat-back for the RS comes in 3 choices of acoustic flavor : quiet, medium and loud. All feature the same deep smooth acoustic qualities. There are no differences in performance between the three different acoustic preferences.
