That's not Sue, I just picked that one up a few weeks ago already crashed. I sold my Blaze car to a guy in CA who destroyed it.

Deadbolt, how close do you live to the Dragon? I was up there just last night. Maybe we can meet up and go for a run. I also would like to talk to you about a body shop that does good work. I need a rear quarter panel on my 98 RS fixed and a full repaint to my factory color which is RBP.

That's just a test fit, there are actually no bolts holding the stuff together because I always like to paint everything off the car, I was just checking the alignment of everything. Hoping to start spraying it within a week.

I'm about an hour from it, sadly I have so much going on now that I never get to do any "enjoyment" driving anymore

Usually I am in the dually nowadays.

The only paint shop in this area that I trust is Harry's Body & Fender, off Smoky Park Hwy in Asheville. I don't have their number handy, but if you can find it, ask for Mike and tell him that Jerry referred you.

More update pics:

Today I swapped out the mangled crossmember and control arms:

And replaced them with the new crossmember and alloy control arms I got from Prestige Subaru:

Then Harry's had mixed some basecoat for me so I colored in all the structural sheet metal that we had replaced:

Hopefully we are only a couple of weeks from having the outer panels painted so we can see what this is really going to look like!

It would surprise you how many "gurus" told me that it wouldn't fit. I just made this post so that anyone that was considering it could see that yes, it could indeed be done without too much difficulty. If you don't replace the inner panel in front of the strut towers the fitment is a little tricky, and you have to do some special trimming there are some differences in that component from the 02-06. Luckily this car needed those anyhow. It looks like the only thing that will pose any problem at all will be the headlight wiring, that is totally different on the 06 unit versus the original 02 stuff, but we will just have to make a custom harness so even that won't be all that tricky.
