Default FS: SoCal, 2005 Saab 9-2x AERO $20500

I thought I might as well try to sell this car here. As most of you know the 9-2x is a rebadged WRX with a few tweaks here and there. Ok so for the good stuff: Its a Black Aero (2.0L turbo) manual tranny, with a cold weather package (seats, mirrors, wipers) 13100 miles. No modifications to the engine or suspension. there is a thule roof rack system with one bike tray and 8 locks. Also I tinted all 7 windows with 5% in the back five and 35% in the front two. 50k mile warranty and 24k miles of saab service. next one due at 15k miles.

The reason I'm selling is I bought a diesel truck for my work since I put about 1k miles a week on her. Everything is in good condition, paint is good no dents or dings. I will detail (clay, polish, etc.) before final sale.

Thanks,
Scott..

GL with the sale. They are nice cars, test drove a few last year. Not trying to thread crap but I think most people on these boards now the fact that these were selling for $18,400 with those options brand new this past June/July.

NP and yes that cheap. Only $500 for that winter package. You could get them bare for $17,800. Try posting in the correct forum (cars for sale) and I wouldnt have said a thing

Bump for a fellow saabaru driver. Great car love mine (owned a 02 wrx that was flooded). Oh and I will second that you could not get these cars that cheap last year.

I never found one for $18k. I bought mine during the sale, and it was barely under 20k with those options.

my best friend got one 5 months ago, 2005 with 2300 miles for that exact price with those exact options , minus the rack shuff...dohh.
GREAT car, but the older wrx seats they use are not the best imo.

Older (02-03) WRX seats are the best USDM seats so far for under 250#.

Saw my old emails with the dealer. Just want to say my bad on the figure of $18,400. They were $19,400 base plus the cold package. Sorry for any confusion as I was off by a grand and some change. So decent price since I am sure that they might be hard to find these days with relatively low miles.

Base Aero GM employee price -------------------> $19,425 ($24,600 +$695 Trans fee +$130 Prep & Handling fee -$6000 rebate)
Premium package GM employee price --------> $1,492
Cold package GM employee price --------------> $528

Your best bet would be to trade it in on the truck. A local guy here just got a hair over $20K in trade for his. The resale on these seems to miss the fact that most of the 9-2Xs sold with DEEP discounts.

I think people should remember that these things sold out quickly at the discounted price. People were hunting far across state lines. They sold 3000/9000 aeros in over a year and then the rest in a month and a half. They were clearly selling below market price just to get them off the lots. Saab has said as much in interviews. You could sell them back at a profit for months afterward (but you would lose out overall on tax, license etc).
And way to crap on his thread.

I don't think he was trying to "crap" on anything, the rebates and GM discount were widely posted and known. And some of it could very well happen again with the '06s, it remains to be seen.

So it's hard to tell what these are worth, considering that, so stick with Kelly or NADA I guess and you're fine. Just may have a hard time with the online crowd.
