Default TiC March Driveline Thread

NEW 06+ Impreza Shift Linkage Bushings. Now, here's the deal on these - Subaru was mean and changed the dimensions on the 06 STi linkage. This meant that our 04-05 STi shift linkage bushings wouldn't fit. Bad, Subaru, Bad!! So we got to work on designing the new linkage bushings, and we made a discovery. The new STi design turns out to use the exact same dimensions for all 06+ 5MT linkage bushings! Good, Subaru, good! (02+ guys, we're working on an update kit that will let you upgrade to the new linkage style).

In other words if you have an 06 STi or an 06 5MT Subaru these linkage bushings will work for you car, and help to clean up a lot of that side to side slop you get as the stock bushings wear out. Now, following in the footsteps of the 04-05 bushings kits we put together some packages for you to help your shopping, and save you a few bucks.

Granted, all this talk of bushings can get confusing so I put together a little picture to help explain all this:

Now, on to the bundles -

For the STi:
We have just the linkage bushings - $30

http://turninconcepts.com/product_in...products_id=81

We have the Front Klicky Kit which gets you the Kartboy 6MT front shifter stay bushing and the TiC linkage bushings - $60

http://turninconcepts.com/product_in...products_id=83

We have the Rear Klicky Kit which gets you the Kartboy rear shifter stay bushings and the TiC linkage bushings - $60

http://turninconcepts.com/product_in...products_id=84

We have the Bodacious Bushing Bundle which gets you BOTH the Kartboy 6MT front AND rear bushings along with the TiC linkage bushings - $90

http://turninconcepts.com/product_in...products_id=82

Finally, we have the Super Shifter Set which gets you the Kartboy 6MT lever, both the front and rear stay bushings, and the TiC linkage bushings - $230

http://turninconcepts.com/product_in...products_id=85

We have just the TiC linkage bushings - $30

http://turninconcepts.com/product_in...products_id=81

We have the Front Klicky Kit (kartboy 5mt front stay bushing and TiC linkage bushings) - $58

We have the Rear Klicky Kit - Kartboy rear stay bushing and TiC linkage bushings - $60

http://turninconcepts.com/product_in...products_id=84

There's the Bodacious Bushing Bundle - Kartboy 5mt front stay bushings, Kartboy rear stay bushing, TiC Shift Linkage Bushings - $88

http://turninconcepts.com/product_in...products_id=86

And finally, we have the 06 WRX or RS Super shifter set. Available in both the wide or narrow version depending upon whether or not you have the SPT/STi Factory Short shifter option. To bump the thread, and give you the lowdown on some new goodies Turn in Concepts is very very pleased to announce our new shift lever pivot bushings. Folks have been talking off and on about these for a while, and they are FINALLY available.

What this means is that there are finally replacement bushings for the stock ones that just turn to mush over time. They come in two flavors - wide and narrow. The wide ones will fit the 02+ 5mt shifter with the wide connection point. This means Impreza, Legacy, Outback, Forester!!

The narrow ones will fit the 97-01 shifters or those with the SPT/STi 5mt short shifter. If you are in any doubt please check with us first.

We currently have the wide version in stock (we're waiting on some custom machined sleeves for the narrow ones). Sorry 6mt guys - these won't fit. The 6mt lever has different dimensions (if these do well then we'll make the 6mt version).

Here's the direct link to the wide version:
http://turninconcepts.com/product_in...products_id=89
Price is set at 19.37, and shipping in the US is free.

I'll get pics up tonight, but to give you an idea of what the heck we're talking about take a look at this pic. We're talking about the ones labeled for the Pivot Bushings.

Right now we're waiting to see how they do for the 5MT. the 6mt would require a completely new part, and thus new tooling. Needless to say tooling is expensive.

Do you have our linkage bushings - those will help with the side to side play.

You want the wide one.

The wide one covers the stock setup on 2002+ imprezas. The narrow one is for 97-01 imprezas, and those guys who have the SPT/STi shortshifter assembly.

The pivot bushings will not fit the STi (what you have listed in your profile). The STi is going to require a different part as the sizes between the 5mt and 6mt are different.

Now, what we do have for the 04 STi is the linkage bushings, and as an extension we have the front klicky kit, rear klicky kit, bodacious bushing bundle, and super shifter set.

I just realized I forgot to put the pivot bushings pics in here so here you go:

Totally rockin' Kartboy shifter shown for illustrative purposes. Really, these will work for the stock shifter or any other shifter that reuses the stock pivot bushings (although we really encourage you to get the Kartboy shifter - winkwinknudgenudge).

shouldn't be paypal only. if you're signing up with a new account that you've never used before then you will be given the option to use a credit card. when it takes you to the paypal screen it should have a "I don't have a paypal account" option.

Will those of us with pre-06 cars (and pre-02 like me) get the shift linkage bushings too? Or just the pivot bushings?
