Default New Body Shell?

I am looking for replacement body shell for a MY04 Impreza WRX.

I have in my possession a MY04 WRX that was in a severe accident involving leaving the road and traveling through the woods. It has some major damage to the body and some minor damage to the front suspension. I would like to rebuild the car rather than performing a swap into an older body. Is there any place that sells Chassis shells?

even if you found a gutted 2002 and up impreza, i bet it would still cost you more than a complete used GC/GM/GF.

Not sure if you realize this, but you're not going to put the good shell on the crashed car. You are going to move every mechanical bit from the crashed car into the good shell. You might as well get and old GC shell if you're going to do it, it will be the same amount of work if you're starting with a bare shell, plus it will weigh less and look better. I assume you think you can just unbolt the body like an old truck and bolt on a new one. These are unibody frames, all one big piece. If you already knew all of this then please ignore my post.

How about just getting a porsche 914 or 911 without a motor?

Wasn't there a part # floating around for a body in white? IIRC it was about $10,000.....
