I'm looking at lifting my WRX wagon and I'm reading about the Forester suspension setup fitting nicely. I'd prefer to buy the setup, but if any Forester owners out there are looking at lowering their ride, I might be willing to trade suspension bits.

What suspension are you running right now? I have an '04 FXT with stock springs/struts on it right now (the ver8's are in the garage) and my wife has an '01 Forester with stock suspension. Would consider a trade depending on what you have, and where you are located.

Didn't mean to get your hopes up... I'm still rockin' stockers, and less than 30k on them. I'm located in NNJ (Rockaway area). I'm still reading up on how everything fits, so bear with me.

Looks like the '01 might be easier to swap out...

I would still prefer to flat out buy a Forester strut/spring combo, if anybody has one!

P.S. post 555 ftw!

I don't know if you would be able to use these based on your last post but I have an 05 xt which I lowered a couple of months ago & the stock springs are collecting dust in my basement. I only swapped the springs so I don't have any struts for sale. The springs have approx. 14,000 miles on them. If you're interested let me know, I'm located in central Jersey & probally would not be asking alot for them.

Thanks for the offer, but I really need the struts too...

I'm gonna take a trip out to Harry's U-Pull-It in a week or two, so maybe I'll find something there.
