Default rearend swap ??'s

i have a 97L wagon and i also have the complete rearend and rear disc conversion from a 2000 rs so my question is will the rs rearend effect my gearing and should i also swap over the driveshaft too. any pro's and con's to this besides rear disc brakes. and what else in the rear can i tranfer from the rs over to my 97L wagon.

im pretty sure that the rear end from an RS will not work in a 97L. the gearing of the rear differential must match that of the center diff, (which is on the back of the tranny). the 97L has a 3.9 final drive ratio in the rear and the RS has a 4.11.
the rear disc brake conversion will work if you have the wheel hubs, but as for using the RS rear diff, thats a no go unless you swap transmissions.
