Default Where are the other 2.5RS swapped L's?

Post em up, mods, and experiences with the car post swap
Since the weather has started getting nicer Ive taken a renewed interest in my 94 AWD 2.5 Impreza L

Completely stock 94 Impreza with a 2.5RS swap. I have WRX front brakes awaiting install and KYB shocks on there. Thats it so far. Im looking into switching to a complete set of Group-N mounts for the 2.5 and after that a header/exhaust combo.

5k miles on the swap and loving every minute of it

Not really. Your rear bumper is worse, but my front bumper looks like yours but I touch-up-painted all the funky spots...

The interior is probably cleaner though.

does a brighton count as an L?

i've so far stuffed the following into my less than L wagon: low km 2.5L, complete 2001 RS wiring harness, Yoshio tuned ECU, custom catback, grp N engine and tranny mounts, wrx tranny and clutch, hydraulic clutch, wrx rear LSD, STI ver5 inverted struts, grp N topmounts, whiteline flatout springs, ALK, 18-22 rear swaybar, rear strut bar, 2000 RS white cluster, legacy turbo front brakes, WRX rear brakes, uhm black legacy rear seats are in, i have alot of trim work to do yet to get rid of all the tan interior...

the car goes like snot its quite fun to drive, seems faster than my previous RS coupe with similar mods... keeps me happy until i'm ready to put a WRX engine and a Hydra in it.

i'm waiting for JDM WRX seats at which point i'll put in my blue carpet and start trying to find black/grey crank window door panels(PITA)

slow cars are fun...

I've been really happy with mine too. The EJ25 is coming out now in favor of an EJ22 that will be done up for autocross.Man...I think everyone's got that aegean blue. 83rabbit...did your trunk&bumper get messed up from a bike rack? I did the same dam thing to mine.....

What's this I hear that a 96 can p&p a 98RS ECU??? If this is the case...I'm about to bump the revlimit on mine (again).

VERY Nice car...

But this thread is for the N/A 2.5's, not the other conversions

Mine's a 95L/OBD1 with fwd auto, I've got the awd 5spd waiting to be swapped in from a 96L donor in my driveway. I've got a 98 dohc legacy 2.5 with 1.8L throttle body and sensors, 1.8L intake (cause it's pretty damn big for a 1.8, even though I have the kartboy intake adapter and a large filter if I want a hot air intake), newer legacy wagon front calipers and larger rotors, 96 legacy wagon (different one ) rear calipers and hubs waiting to be swapped for the awd. I had my emanage wired in, but I removed it and the kartboy intake and filter until I get the 5spd in. I also have the nice RS headlights and grille (but damnit one just got cracked yesterday from a friggin rock on the freeway ) All I really need to do is order a new set of kyb's for the rear since my current kyb's wont work with the awd hubs. Just need to get off my lazy arse and drop the transmission! I would post pics, but don't have any under the hood ones, it is clean under there even though I've got plenty of dings and my bumper is teh warped big time. I have a pic in the "green" thread if anyone wants to look there.

I've got the same car as hawk, but with '98 RS goldies, and will have an EJ25 going into it in short order. But I am cheating and adding an autorotor blower to the mix...
I've got my RS for my MY00 Ej25 NA madness, and should have a dyno sheet to make you all drool over what an Ej25 is capable of doing in a week or two. I have to finish the break-in on the new heads and cams and them I'll get 'er on the rollers...

I've run my '93 since October with no major problems. Running a '99 2.5RS with Fidanza flywheel, exedy clutch, UR Pullys and Injen intake through a Borla header and Evo 2 exhaust.

Started life as my winter car and has turned out to be more fun to drive than my '92 Stealth turbo.

Suspension is KYB with Tanabe NF springs, much nicer ride than my old H&Rs.

Biggest issue has been stalling when comming to a stop, doesn't do it all the time. Probably some proffesional tuning should be done... Car just turned 200K so some of the drivetrain seems to be a bit loose, gets lots of engine braking with the Alu. flywheel.
