Default 1/4 mile guru questions

ok, at my current set up on my 4EAT 04 wagon, i am running a 13.5, 60ft 1.85, 0-60mph 5.1.(cobb stage 2, lightened crank pulley, MRT Turbo-back, tranny cooler w/ synthitic fluid, port/polished/wrapped stock headers, up-pipe, IC hoses)
my question is when i add on a modded valvebody, up-ed tranny line pressure regulator, TC, td05-16g, street tuner, FMIC, get it tuned, how fast should i be??
they say the TC takes almost 1sec off, plus the valvebody, figure together 1.2-1.5secs, that along would be mid 12's on still the stock turbo right?? the add the 16g and tune, is high 11's possiable with the built 4EAT, stock motor, and a 16g?

with that tranny setup.. Maybe. But 11's on a 16G is going to be REAAAAAAAAAAAALY tough.
Spray a 50 shot and you should be there.

That about 1 sec from the TC is on an otherwise stock car, if you are already running a sec faster, the amount of time is shaves is going to be smaller, BUT for 1/4 mile use, its a "must have" mod.

I say mid 12's, the tranny shifting will be your downfall.

That's quite quick with the mods listed in your current configuration. I run the same times with almost the same level of mods on a 2.5 FXT with a 5spd and 4.44 gears. You must be doing something right. What kind of mph are you running? Considering a lot of 5spd owners with better 60' times struggle to get a high 12 with the 2.0 I'm not so sure you'll be into the mid 12s with just the TC and vlv body. I also think it will be a struggle to get into the 11s with the 16g but this is based on opinion, not experience.

my 13.5 was at 102.3
powerbreaking i get to 2900-3200 rpm and a full 16.5psi on the AP.
it only likes to lock up sometimes at the track, i have to have it drove around and not sitting in line for ever, i pretty much have to get to the track early to make almost back to back runs to get it to hook up

Still, even with those mods, 12.5 is going to be hard. Each .10 takes good power and budget, your talking about dropping almost 2 seconds in the 1/4.
The Auto is the Enemy here.

Not really. If he can cut a 1.8 60' WITHOUT a torque converter and run a 13.5 on stock turbo then 12.5 is VERY achievable. There are auto's running 12 flat with 18g's so I wouldnt say 12.5 is out of the question with those mods..
