Looking for intake cams. What have you got ???

Actually, Phase I and II have nothing to do with cams. the ONLY difference between phase I and phase II have to do with the crank, the crankcase, rods, and pistons.

Only the rods and pistons are interchangeable. the one difference is the position of the thrust bearing:

Phase I = center thrust bearing
Phase II = rear thrust bearing


Now, usually a phase I is associated with DOHC engines, but some DOHC engines have been phase II. 99 and up SOHC engines are phase I.


if you are looking for cams for a DOHC they may be different than a SOHC but I'm not 100% on that since I'e done zero research on DOHC cams since they do not apply to me.

www.techworkseng.com is an EXCELLENT place to start. They are based out of Calgary, AB and specialize in the good ol' GC/GM style cars (RS)
